Project Overview:
The Guangzhou Changyun Cold Chain Logistics Center covers an area of 70,000 square meters and has a floor area of 35,000 square meters. It consists of two double-story cold storage buildings, with a total capacity of 35,000 pallet positions, a total storage capacity of 40,000 tons, a volume of over 300,000 cubic meters. There are a total of 20 independent storage rooms, with temperature zones ranging from -25℃ to 15℃. It is equipped with a 7,000-square-meter enclosed low-temperature transfer corridor, 15 meters wide, using ultra-flat flooring to achieve dust-free operation. The entire facility uses variable frequency energy-saving technology and an intelligent control system and has obtained the LEED environmental certification.

Architectural Structure:
With a double-story steel structure, the Changyun Cold Chain Logistics Center adopts the American-style steel structure external insulation mode. Taking into account the advantages of the original terrain, it adopts a double-story steel structure with a side transfer corridor structure mode. The second floor uses a circular turning yard for detouring. This solution doubles the number of loading and unloading bays, reaching 54 loading and unloading bays, which can maximize the improvement of logistics turnover efficiency.

Waterproofing and Thermal Insulation:
The Changyun Cold Chain Logistics Center adopts the external insulation mode. The storage room panels are 200mm PIR thermal insulation sandwich panels (the thickness of the outer steel plate is 0.8mm, and the inner one is 0.5mm), and the height of a single storage room panel exceeds 20 meters. The floor uses 200mm extruded polystyrene thermal insulation panels laid with staggered joints. The roof uses 1.5mm polyester fiber internally reinforced TPO waterproofing membrane + 250mm extruded polystyrene thermal insulation panels + a vapor barrier + a fireproof isolation layer, which are fixed on 0.8mm Lysaght B36 steel plates. Inside the storage room, Dow's on-site sprayed rigid foam self-extinguishing polyurethane is used for thermal insulation and cold isolation, integrating a number of international high-performance waterproofing and thermal insulation construction techniques.

Refrigeration Process and Ultra-flat Floor:
It is one of the early adopters in China of a large-scale Freon R507 refrigeration system, equipped with York variable frequency compressor units, achieving fully automated operation of the system.
The stacking height of goods on the shelves on the ground floor of the first-floor storage room is 7 meters, and that on the second floor is 10.6 meters. An ultra-flat floor is required: the flatness is FF 50, and the levelness is FL 35.

Other Aspects:
The cold storage is also equipped with 260 low-temperature cameras, which cover all areas of the cold storage. WIFI is installed inside the storage room, enabling PDA information-based operations within the storage room.
